Millennials love entertainment programmes in Brazil

The average exposure time to the entertainment genre has increased by 33% among young people aged 18 to 34

A study released by Kantar IBOPE Media shows that entertainment programming, one of the most popular TV genres among millennials aged between 18 to 34 in Brazil, recorded a 33% increase in the average exposure time in the last two years. 

This genre includes programmes that cover a wide range of subjects including fun activities, games, interviews and music performances. 

In 2014, television viewers in this age bracket watched 17 minutes and 49 seconds of entertainment programmes per day. In 2016, this average rose to 23 minutes and 40 seconds per day.
