2014's most advertised drug class in medical journals

Kantar Media Top Print Ad Drug Classes

There were 95,167 print advertising pages published in medical journals in 2014, a less-than-1% decrease year-over-year, according to Kantar Media.

Antineoplastic agents (for cancer therapy) continue to be the top drug class advertising by both pages and dollars, as in both 2012 and 2013. Advertising pages for antineoplastic agents accounted for nearly 11% of all pharmaceutical advertising pages in 2014. The Diabetes Oral class ranked second with approximately 3% of share.
