In the lead up to the launch of our new Kantar Twitter TV Rating service, below is a preview release of Twitter impressions data overlaying BARB viewing figures for the Wimbledon Men’s Final. The piece offers a comprehensive view of the audience’s interaction with match, and shows a spike in both tweets and viewing figures at the key moments.
This is the first release of Twitter impressions data in the UK, and precedes additional studies that will look further into how Twitter can amplify the power of television.
