Sky New Zealand extend Audience Measurement contract

The system, originally launched in 2006, is part of Kantar Media's return path data services which process set top box data which is collected via a return path. It was the first commercial RPD system to launch outside of the UK and US.
The service initially consisted of a recruited panel of 6,500 Sky homes which provided details their viewing captured through their set top box.
How our Return Path Data services work
Since its launch in 2006 the service has evolved to incorporate the Timeshift viewing reporting via the MYSKY boxes, high definition channels and push video on demand content.
The contract extension will ensure SKY continue to gain insights into their subscribers and enable the service to further develop along with Sky's offerings.
