Kantar Media’s acquisition of Newsaccess approved by the CCPC

In February 2017, Kantar Media acquired media monitoring business Newsaccess.
Following a voluntary notification by Kantar Media, the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) launched a review into the acquisition, with our full co-operation. The review has concluded and we can confirm the acquisition of Newsaccess has been approved by the CCPC, subject to Kantar Media complying with certain commitments that have been agreed with the CCPC.
