Kantar Names Rumpel, CEO, Media Division, North America
Veteran of SAP, Rosetta Stone, Gartner succeeds Bhatia, who is named global Chief Product Officer
New York, NY, December 12, 2019: Kantar, the world’s leading data, insights and consulting company, today announced that Pete Rumpel has been named Chief Executive Officer, Media Division, North America.
The announcement, effective immediately, was made by Reed Cundiff, North American CEO of Kantar.
Rumpel succeeds Manish Bhatia who has been named, Chief Product Officer, Media Division, Kantar.
Most recently Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Partner for ABI Research, a global advanced technology research and consulting firm, Rumpel has held a variety of global sales, marketing, business development, client success and product development roles over his career, including with SAP, Rosetta Stone and Gartner.
“Pete’s executive leadership and deep experience in B2B and Consumer syndicated research, as well as in data and consulting offerings is ideal for bringing the vision we have for the Kantar Media Division to fruition,” says Cundiff. “We are very excited to add Pete to our North American leadership team.”
In his new role, Bhatia will oversee global product development efforts for Kantar’s Media Division. Prior to joining Kantar, Bhatia served in product development roles for both Nielsen and Comscore.
