Fun agency brands: what's in a name?

One of the entertaining things about working so closely with ad agencies and media companies is that we get to collaborate with some of the most creative and interesting folks in the media business. Often, they work for creatively (some might say strangely) named companies.

The AdFreak blog from Adweek has ranked their nominations for the 40 weirdest ad agency names in the business. It's a great list, and there are lots more great names in the comments.

Perhaps we're just a little jealous; after all, "SRDS" and "Standard Rate and Data Service" have always been on the more functional side of the brand table.
