Legal advertising seeking asbestos claimants has been a consistent presence on the nation’s airwaves. Indeed, in 2015 alone, Kantar Media's Campaign Media Analysis Group (CMAG) tracked $60 million in this type of advertising.
Since May 3, 2016, however, CMAG has monitored four new creatives from two sponsors - Napoli Shkolnik Attorneys and Kreindler & Kreindler, LLP - soliciting claimants who worked near the World Trade Center wreckage or merely lived in Lower Manhattan during and after the September 11 terrorist attacks. These ads are airing to the tune of $128,000, occurring 61 times on National Cable, National TV and in the New York markets.
