7UP is mixing it UP for new campaign

Who’s on Top? – February 13 - 19, 2017

Advertising spend on new creatives airing on national television reached $133 million during the week of February 13. With no big sporting events or award shows commanding higher priced advertising space on the TV line up this week, new creative spend took a slight dip from the week prior, though still accounted for 17% of overall national television expenditures.

Ranking number 10 in new creative spend for the week was 7UP, who launched a new campaign on February 13. The campaign, titled “Mix It UP a Little,” showcases the versatility of 7UP and how it is as an essential staple for food and drink recipes, regardless of the social setting – whether it be an elegant garden party, a festival in the dessert or hanging on a yacht with rapper 2 Chainz.

The brand spent $2.8 million of expenditures on national TV throughout the week, with additional content used for online video and OOH.
