Tablet usage among oncology nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants remains similar and stabler

On the tablet front, the usage of oncology nurses is consistent with the usage habits of nurse practitioners and physician assistants, according to Kantar Media’s Sources & Interactions 2013 Study – Oncology Nursing Edition. Similarly, all groups have had similar usage habits since 2013. Among oncology nurses, the vast majority do not use professional mobile apps. However, among those that are tablet users, the type of mobile application used most often are for Medical Journals/Newspapers/Magazines.

Kantar Media’s Sources & Interactions™ Studies offer a detailed examination of healthcare professionals’ online and mobile activities, e-detailing experience, and exposure to (and evaluation of) information sources including traditional and emerging media, sales reps, CME, conventions and more. The Oncology Nursing Edition, conducted every year, is designed to profile oncology nurses’ media use in these areas of interest to healthcare marketers and media professionals.
