John is proud to lead an award-winning team of marketers, designers and communication professionals whose mission is to make Kantar Media famous by driving client-centric growth. The team strives to be a vital partner to clients and colleagues, communicating our offer through a best-in-class experience and ensuring Kantar Media remains at the heart of conversations in the global media and entertainment industry. In addition to this, John is closely involved in key account development, working with new business and product teams on tenders and new business proposals.
John led the team that created The World Audiences Summit, the pre-eminent international conference for audience measurement, and has spearheaded its evolution from 2011 until the present day.
Prior to his current role, John was Kantar Media’s Strategic Content Director, leading global and strategic content programmes closely aligned with the topics our clients are actively debating. This was manifested through some of Kantar Group’s largest and most successful thought leadership programmes, including Media Trends & Predictions, Media Navigator and DIMENSION, as well as through active involvement in industry forums and associations.
Previous roles include Global Marketing Director, Audience Measurement (2012-2017) and UK Marketing Director (2009-2012).
John joined the business in 2003 and read Business in Bristol, UK.
